Sarah Shirley is an artist living in New York City and working out of her studio in Long Island City, Queens (across from PS1).  She received her BA in Fine Arts from UCLA and her MFA from Pratt Institute in Brooklyn.  She recently left her full time teaching position of 8 years to focus on her painting.  She continues to run art workshops for the Museum of Natural History and conducts portfolio reviews for the International Baccalaureate Organization.
